Armenian man who destroyed monument to Azerbaijani warriors will stand trial today, head of Azerbaijani community in Crimea Rahim Humbatov said.

He said at the request of head of the community, criminal proceedings were handed over to judge Tatyana Bukhareva from judge of Armenian origin Rosanna Mouradian.
Judicial review of the criminal case against Edward Arakelyan, who destroyed monument to Azerbaijani soldiers in Sevastopol, is scheduled for today. Perpetrators of crime is expected to get imprisonment of about 5 years. A monument in honor of the Azerbaijani soldiers in Sevastopol was destroyed on October 6, 2009.
