Azerbaijan Youth and Sports Ministry organizes summer camps for youth across the country

The Ministry is holding talks with relevant agencies in country’s regions to organize summer camps for children.

“We can not say exactly how many children and students we will send to these camps, but we plan to open a health center for representatives of youth organizations and students, as well as for gifted children. Stay in the camps will be paid for by the Youth and Sports Ministry. Under the plan, camps will provide all conditions for sports and development of creative abilities of children,” she said.

The Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan has already ensured recreational facilities for 2,400 children in four holiday camps located in Khachmaz and Absheron regions, the Confederation official Elshan Suleymanov said.

"The ticket costs 103 manat, but tour will be provided free of charge for half of the children. The rest will have to pay only 15% of its value.”

He said children will have only healthy food in the camps.
