Due to the hot weather conditions in Azerbaijan, a special regime has been declared in military units, the Defence Ministry's spokesman Eldar Sabiroglu said.

"Due to the hot weather conditions, soldiers of military units stayin barracks from 11:00 to 17:00. In this regard, the Ministry of Defence has signed a corresponding order," Sabiroglu explained.
He said this is done to protect soldiers and officers against sunstroke. Last week the temperature in the territory of Azerbaijan increased. In some regions of Azerbaijan, air temperature will rise to 39 degrees on June 16, the National Hydrometeorological Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources said.
