Baku hosts festival of Indian cuisine

An Indian cuisine festival was held in Baku on Sunday.
The aim of the event organized by the Indian embassy and Azerbaijan-India Association is to introduce Azerbaijanis to Indian cuisine and expand bilateral cultural ties.

Speaking to the festival, Indian ambassador Debnath Shaw touched on Azerbaijan-India friendship and cultural ties between the two nations. Festival participants saw a video on the Indian culture, cinematograph as well as film director and actor Raj Kapoor. Money raised from the event will be spent on charity activities.
