Azerbaijan holds talks on international satellite coordination

The Azerbaijan's Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies is holding talks on satellite coordination with Greece, Italy and Russia.
The coordination process must be completed and the satellite network brought into use within seven years in accordance with the International Telecommunication Union`s requirements. The protocols on satellite coordination procedures have been signed with Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Azersat national satellite network's orbital position should be agreed with some 30 countries.
Azersat will cover major part of Kazakhstan, half of Asia and Europe except for Scandinavia.
The satellite is scheduled to be put into orbit by 2012.
