Iranian Red Crescent Society will build a 120-bed clinic in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan’s Health Ministry has already granted permission to build a
new clinic in Azerbaijan, Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Mahammad Bagir
Bahrami said. According to him, construction of the clinic will begin after the
permission document is ready.
“I hope it will serve both development of bilateral relations and health
of the Azerbaijani people. The Azerbaijani people will be able to go to
the clinic supplied with the modern medical equipment in Baku when
necessary,” he said.
The ambassador said the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran
were developing, much had been done in this field.
“Our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters go to Iranian clinics for
examination and treatment, and this shows that our relations are perfect.
Medicine has developed a lot in Iran. We have specialized doctors. Human
health is very important. It is our duty to serve our Azerbaijani
brothers and sisters. Unilateral abolition of the visa regime has also
positive influence on the relations. If the Azerbaijani side also lifts
visa requirments, the relations will develop even more,” he said.
