Turkey’s Global Teknik has offered joint production of unmanned aircrafts to Azerbaijan.

The company’s officials said that GLOBIHA unmanned air vehicle was introduced to Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Yaver Jamalov at the SOFEX defense industry exhibition in Jordan in May. The Turkish company reported about the technical characteristics of the unmanned air vehicle and opportunities of joint production.
GLOBIHA is an independent unmanned air vehicle, made of light composite material, with high strength, that can fly with fueled or electrical engine. It made up by combining the dismounted parts inside its special military packaging can be controlled at 200-1500 feet, and coveys real-time images by flying 1.5 hours within 15 km of range. GLOBIHA is able to provide imaging at any weather conditions. It can be re-mounted in 10 minutes. It is able to carry a load of 3.1 kg and can be thrown manually in approximately 10 minutes by 2 persons.
The wing width is 1510 mm and the length is 1400 mm. The unmanned air vehicle can be used for borders security, intelligence, target detection, mapping and control of oil, fuel, gas and communication lines.
