Protest action in Azerbaijan held against Israeli attack

A protest action took place in Lankaran region of Azerbaijan on June 2 to protest Israeli commandos’ attack on a flotilla carrying humanitarian cargo to Gaza. The action brought together about 200 Lankaran residents. Protesters chanted anti-Israeli slogans and expressed their support for Turkey. The protest action ended with a resolution condemning the Israeli attack on the ships with humanitarian aid and required to impose sanctions against Israel.
