Azerbaijan, Germany discuss social security cooperation

The delegation of the Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) paid a five-day visit to Germany to study experience of this country in the field of pensions. The delegation held a meeting in the German Pension Insurance Office, the SSPF reported.

The delegation was informed about the organization of work in the collection of state obligatory social insurance, collection of social insurance contributions, control of employers and reforms carried out in this area. The delegation also familiarized with  the organization of the apparatus' work. During the visit, the delegation held extensive discussions on specific topics relating to the further development of cooperation between the Office and SSPF.

Cooperation between the two structures has been lasting for a long time and the sides carried out joint activities in this framework. Reciprocal visits have been carried out to study the experience of. In addition, the sides signed agreement implying the strengthening of cooperation and friendly relations in 2008-2009.
