Monument for Azerbaijani soldier erected in Ukraine

A monument for Azerbaijani soldier Ali Ismayilov has been erected in the Ukrainian city of Lviv on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.

The monument was erected on the initiative of the Azerbaijani community in the city. Azerbaijan's ambassador to Ukraine Talat Aliyev attended the opening ceremony. Ismayilov died during the liberation of Prikarpatye.
