Pedestrian TORN APART by BMW on the streets of Baku

BMW car ran into middle-aged pedestrian. Driving the car was Sergei Torgashov, Nizami District Police Office employee Shahin Heydarov said.

It is being investigated whether the driver was intoxicated at the time of an accident.

The car had so high speed that it tore apart the pedestrian. No identification documents were found on the victim. Work is under way to establish his identity.

The driver reportedly was about 30 years and he is a resident of Baku. It is known that the driver tried to avoid a collision and even used a hand brake lever, but failed avoid an accident.

The fact is under investigation.
