Azerbaijani president makes new appointments

Under the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decree dated April 24, Jomard Aliyev and Ilgar Muradov were appointed at the Vice Chairmen to the State Securities Committee (SSC) position, the committee reported.

Earlier, Jomard Aliyev has served as head of the SCS regulation of securities department.  Muradov previously served as deputy chairman of the National Depository Center.

The committee's main activities are to regulate the securities market and adopt regulations in connection with this, control emission and circulation of securities, as well as the activities of market participants, licensing and protection of the rights of participants in the securities market.
