
On April 24, the Film Studio "Azerbaijanfilm" will host a presentation of the documentary film "Genocide: BAKU". The film was prepared by the International Eurasian Research Institute Public Union.
The producer of the film is Gunel Pashayeva, writer and director - Etibar Mammadov, editor - Kamala Pashayeva. The author of the scientific reviews is the doctor of historical sciences, Professor Musa Gasimov. The chief advisor of the documentary film "Genocide: Baku" is MP Ganira Pashayeva.
Based on historical documents and facts, the film tells about the genocide committed by Armenian Dashnaks in Baku in 1918. Furthermore, the film describes the fate of people who lost relatives and friends at that time, and witnesses to those events.
During the Genocide committed by the Armenians in various regions of Azerbaijan in 1918, thousands of civilians in Baku were brutally murdered.
The film is planned to be displayed on the Azerbaijani TV channels. With the help of state and non-governmental organizations, diaspora organizations, the public union starts to distribute the film amongst the Azerbaijanis, residing abroad, and the international community.
The public union prepares English and Russian versions of the film. There are plans to present the film in foreign language in the U.S., some countries in Europe and the CIS.
Earlier, International Eurasian Research Institute Public Union has prepared and presented in Azerbaijan and some other countries the documentary film "Genocide: Guba" in Azerbaijani and English languages.
