Number of officially registered working foreigners in Azerbaijan revealed

Minister of Labour and Social Protection Fizuli Alakbarov said that currently in Azerbaijan on the basis of the individual permit employment engaged 6, 386 people from 82 countries.
Last year the number was 602 persons less (or 1.4% less).

The number of individual permits, data, and extended in the first quarter of this year totaled 1,976 which exceeds the same period of last year by 397 persons or 1.3%.

Increasing the amount of state fee for individual permits for foreigners from 45 to 1000 manat, while preserving the internal labor market, helps to attract skilled staff to the country, as well as enhance the professionalism and skills of local professionals.
