Four residential buildings catch fire in Baku

Private houses in the Farzaliyev Street caught fire at 04:00 a.m., Nizami Fire Prevention Department said.

As a result, 33-year old man was asphyxiated by carbon monoxide and hospitalized with the toxicological department of the Clinical Medical Center.

Two other inhabitants of the house suffered burns of varying severity. The fire has caused a severe damage to the houses. According to the report, the cause of the fire was short circuit.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations is investigating the incident.
