Novruz Bayram was marked in Seoul

Novruz Bayram, marking the first day of spring, was celebrated in Seoul on the initiative of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Korea.

The event has brought together teachers and students of the Korea-based University of Foreign Languages’ Azeri language department and foreign diplomats.

Rovshan Jumshudov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Korea, congratulated the participants on Novruz Bayram and briefed them on the history of this holiday.

The Ambassador emphasized that the United Nations General Assembly recognized March 21 as the “International Day of Novruz”.
