International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will open a dosimetric laboratory in Azerbaijan, said Ramiz Hasanov, Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patent’s chairman.

According to him, as the result of long-term negotiations IAEA has decided to open a dosimetric lab in Azerbaijan in 2010.
“The laboratory will measure x-rays as per some standards and norms”, he added.
A special place has been allotted for the lab where IAEA will install equipments there.
