One killed after blast at Baku - Rostov-on-Don railway in Dagestan

Officials in Russia's restive Dagestan region say one person has been killed in a bomb explosion on railroad tracks near the regional capital.

Col. Shamil Guseinov, police chief in the capital city, Makhachkala, said the explosion took place late Wednesday.

An explosive device went off at the railway Baku - Rostov-on-Don in the precincts of Makhachkala, Interfax reported
