Days of Iranian cinema launched in Baku

Audience in Azerbaijan's capital will have an opportunity to watch movies by Iranian filmmakers this weekend.
The cinema of Iran is a flourishing film industry with a long history.

Many popular commercial films are annually made in Iran, and Iranian art films win praise around the world.

With the production of an average 100 feature films per year, Iran is now ranked 14th in the world.

The Days of Iranian Cinema in Baku will feature movies by the country's famous filmmakers, including Majid Majidi.
