Criminals demanding ransom of 1mln manats for kidnapped Baku resident detained

Criminals who demanded ransom of 1 million manats for kidnapped Baku resident have been detained, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry said.
Baku residents Vadim Guliyev and Nikolay Limberg took hostage Timur Aliyev, 25.

They demanded 1 million manat from his parents.

Timur Aliyev was released after his father Sardar Aliyev gave a Mitsubishi Pajero and VAZ-2107 car, 33,000 manat and jewelries worth 4,160 manat as ransom to the criminals.

Interior Ministry’s Department to Combat Organized Crimes began operation without delay.

Guliyev, Limberg and Hajiyev were detained by the operation group while taking extra $30,000 from Sardar Aliyev.
