Blast in testing ground in Azerbaijan leaves two killed

The incident happened in the testing ground near the farm in Chayli village last night.

Guba residents Asef Shahverdiyev, 45, and his son Esbala Shahverdiyev, 11, found an explosive device in the testing ground while grazing cattle.

Suddenly the device blasted killing father and his son.

The investigation team of Absheron prosecutor’s office learned that that the explosive device was anti-tank mine detonator.

It was used by servicemen who passed training in the testing ground two days before.

Prosecutor’s office has launched a criminal case.
