Russian company to popularize Azerbaijani folk music

The CD was released as part of the large-scale project titled “The Anthology of Folk Music. Spirit of people”, which implies the release of CD-s with a music of CIS and Baltic states.

It is a one-of-a-kind music project, implemented by “Melodiya” company, project manager Elena Rastegayeva says.

The first two CD-s titled “The Azerbaijani music” and “The Chechen music” have already been released and will soon go on sale.

“The Azerbaijani music” record features famous mughams, Azerbaijan folk songs and dance music.

The project is sponsored and implemented by “Melodiya” company.
