Japanese gov't funding new social projects in Azerbaijan

Under the grant program "Grass Roots and Human Security", the Japanese government is funding other six projects in the social sphere in Azerbaijan.
A grant agreement was signed in Baku on Oct. 9 between the Japanese Embassy and Azerbaijani non-governmental organizations.

Projects will include construction of health centers in Gakh, Saatli, Kurdamir, Shamakhi, as well as improving water infrastructure in the Fuzuli and Bilasuvar regions and equipping of sports facilities in Bilasuvar.

Six grants cost total of $556,268.
