Heavy rains cause damage to Azerbaijan's Oguz region

The central part of the region and Zanut village were flooded as a result of rains which lasted until the early morning.

Level of water reached 2-3 meters in some places and seriously damaged communication and power lines, bridges, as well as gas pipes and flooded roads and private houses.

The flood washed away a car in the central part of the region.

Rescuers of the Emergency Commission of Oguz region arrived at site and took immediate measures to eliminate consequences of heavy rains and floods.
