Kazakhstan allows transgender operation

Kazakhstan has introduced a piece of legislation allowing transgender operations, Interfax reported.
A respective provision is contained in the Code titled "The health of the nation and the health care system," published by central media outlets on Tuesday.

"Persons with gender identity disorders, except for persons with mental disorders, have the right to change their gender," Article 88 of the aforesaid Code says.
