Azerbaijani labor ministry to implement reforms to improve legislation

The Labor Ministry is interested in drawing maximum positive lessons from the implementation of all projects in system of reforms which was brought close to world standards in the social policy of the State, the ministry said.

The ministry does not plan to fill up the list of European partners, but tries to expand existing range of communication and cooperation with existing partners including Italy, Hungary, Holland, Germany, Turkey, Russia and other CIS countries.

Currently, the Labor Ministry is working on regulation and mechanism of targeted social aid programs and suggests reforms in this area of employment.

The source said finance and economic development ministries and State Statistical Committee were involved with developing a mechanism and amendments to the program of targeted social aid.

In this case the Labor Ministry, responsible for this program, does not exclude further amendments to improve mechanism of targeted social aid.

Currently, a lot of technical amendments have been made to the program, the ministry said.
