Azerbaijani MP commented on Azerbaijan’s transition to Bologna process of education

“Azerbaijan officially shifted to Bologna process of education in 2005 by signing convention and undertook commitments,” Azerbaijani parliament’s science and education committee chair Shamsaddin Hajyev said.
Transition to this process will complete in 2010, he added.

He said the Bologna process has several criteria.

“These criteria will bring Azerbaijan’s education in line with European standards. Currently, some Azerbaijan universities have fully shifted to this process while others do it step-by-step,” he said.

Transition to the Bologna process will contribute to development of education in Azerbaijan,” Hajiyev said.
