Baku Metro to complete escalator replacement in Icherisheher subway by September 15

“It is difficult to say how much escalator replacement in Icherisheher subway will take,” Baku Metro Deputy Director Arif Rasulov said.
“We try to complete the replacement by September 15. Relevant agencies have already been notified about the upcoming closure of the subway station,” Rasulov said.

Icherisheher subway station will be closed for a time being from July 15 due to escalator replacement. Nearly 5.7 million manat have been spent to purchase three escalators.
