Heavy rain causes damage to Guba Region

It damaged mostly Chichi Village of the region. GAZel and Niva vehicles owned by the local residents were taken away by the stream and stroke against a rock. The heavy stream took away 10 livestock as well. Chichi local administrative building and five bridges over the Chichi River were destroyed. The heavy rain also damaged 30-hectare agricultural field, electricity and communication network of the village. Chairman of the emergency commission of Guba Region Yusif Abidov told APA the authorities have begun this morning the measures to eliminate damages caused by the heavy rain and stream.
