MP offers to create body regulating Internet media

"Creation of such a structure is necessary as internet disseminates information, influencing a moral state of a person, especially children", said Aynur Guliyeva during a plenary session Tuesday, according to Interfax-Azerbaijan.

As an example, she cited the events at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy of April 30, when she said bloody photos from the spot were disseminated in the Internet.

"Television and internet played a definite role in the events at the high school", added she.

The deputy suggests that such structure can be created and regulated by mass medias.

"Creation of this structure could be regulated by way of introducing due amendments to the legislation of the country", said Guliyeva.
