Preparation for second summit of Turkic speaking countries' PA discussed in Baku

Heads of the parliament administrations of the member states of the Turkic Speaking Countries' Parliamentary Assembly visited Baku today.
Representatives from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are discussing preparations for the second summit of the Turkic speaking countries' PA to be held in Baku in Sept.

The representatives visited grave of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Honorary Cemetery and Martyr's Lane.  

Heads of the parliament administrations of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan did not visit Baku.

Heads of the parliament administrations of the member states of the Turkic Speaking Countries' decided to establish Parliamentary Assembly at a conference in Istanbul in 2008. The PA includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

The parliamentary assembly is expected to convene in Baku in Sept. 2009.
