Changes needed to some articles of Family Code: MP

He said the aim of the monitoring is to reveal its execution and to define whether it meets modern realities.

Under preliminary results of the monitoring it became clear that some articles need to be changed.

"In particular, it is necessary to raise the age of girls, willing to marry. Moreover, persons, willing to marry must pass medical examination. The results of the monitoring show that most issues appear in this direction".

Guliyev noted that after completion of the monitoring the committee on social policy will prepare proposals to the Family Code to be put for discussion in the parliament.
