10 Azerbaijanis to be released from custody in Georgia

Chairperson of the commission Elena Tevdoradze told APA Georgian bureau that list of pardoned people is ready. “The president will issue a decree of pardon soon. We added the list sent by Patriarch Ilia II as well. Totally 80 prisoners will be released form jail”.

Tevdoradze said there were 10 Azerbaijanis in the list of pardoned prisoners. “Several Azerbaijani prisoners have very complicated cases. We will review their cases six months later”.

The order of pardon will be issued on the occasion of Independence Day.
