Media Development State Support Fund established in Azerbaijan

Under Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decree, the Media Development State Support Fund was created at the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
Regulation on the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Media Development State Support Fund was approved.

The Cabinet was instructed to provide a place for the Fund and to address logistics issues, to draw up cost estimates, staff schedule, determine the number of staff and salaries, to provide for setting adequate funds in annual draft budget to support public media.

The Justice Ministry should ensure state registration of the Fund within 15 days.
