Center of Italian language opens in Baku

Samed Seidov, rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Milli Medjlis deputy Samed Seidov noted that Italian has been studied at the university since 2001. Now bachelors and several masters decree students study Italian at the translation faculty.

"The opening of the Center of Italian language, equipped with computers, literature, inquiry books became a great joy for the students. Here they will be able to improve their knowledge", said Seidov.

Deputy Italian Foreign minister Alfredo Mantica, visiting our country, said: "I am very glad to be at the opening of the center of Italian language. This event dated to my visit, as my mission includes spread of the Italian language. I want the students to familiarize with our culture and people via the language".
