Armenian expert: "Through 10 years the Armenian authorities have done everything possible to remove Karabakh from the negotiation process"

He said if Karabakh attempts to resist any of the attained agreements, the international structures will merely send it for explanations to the Armenian leadership without listening to its opinion.

Sargsyan noted that within 10 years the Armenian authorities have done everything possible to remove Karabakh from the negotiation process which has prompted the current situation.

Commenting on the statements of Karabakh "powers" that the issue can not be settled without Khankendi's participation and without considering its opinion, the expert noted that these statements are caused by the fact that Armenian leadership realized its mistake of signing the Moscow declaration without Karabakh too late, while the two months silence of Khankendi on this issue proves the thought that there is no separate Karabakh factor.

Sargsyan's opponent, political scientist Erwand Bozoyan, in turn, agreed that the removal of Nagorno Karabakh from the negotiation process has become a loss for the Armenian side, yet voiced opinion that it is impossible to say Karabakh is not a factor.

"In the end there are people who will say their word and it is incorrect to say that Karabakh is not a factor, as there are people there", noted he.
