Azerbaijani Council of Press thanks Ilham Aliyev for temporary release of Ganimat Zahid and Mirza Sakit

The appeal thanks President Ilham Aliyev for allowing editor-in-chief of Azadlyg newspaper Ganimat Zahid and newspaper correspondent Mirza Sakit to attend their father's funeral.

"The temporary release of Zahidovs brothers for their participation in their father's funeral is a sign of nobility", says the appeal.

The letter also voices hope that the issue of pardoning brothers Ganimat and Sakit Zahidovs will be considered.
