Interior Ministry installs video cameras in overcrowded places in Baku

Azerbaijan’s Interior Ministry is installing video cameras in overcrowded places in Baku within the framework of "Safe City" project, chief of Main Security Department of Interior Ministry Meded Guliyev said, APA reports.

"The aim of the project is to prevent crimes, ensure public safety and solve the crimes," he said.

Meded Guliyev said the cameras would record the events in the streets. Law-enforcement bodies will use these materials when necessary.
