Supreme Court of Azerbaijan recognizes manager of Bakcell company as swindler

Thus, the court regarded the claim as unfounded and dismissed it. The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Baku Appellate Court.

Initially, the court of grave crimes found Todorovski guilty in bribery, sentencing him to 8 years in prison. The Appellate Court re-qualified his actions into swindle (article 178.3) and he was imprisoned for 7 years.

It should be noted that the manager of the Bakcell company tried to fabricate the results of the tenders, which involved the companies A-Group and Hi-Tech. Todorovski took a bribe of $10,000 from Hi-Tech.
