Former footballer linked with Forest Brothers

Alexander Nuraliyev, former footballer of Shahdag and MKT-Araz football clubs has been arrested, APA-SPORT reports.
27, half back, was among vahhabists during operations carried out in Gusar in August –September, 2008.

Nuraliyev is reportedly linked with the Forest brothers. He was held accountable.

Members of the Forest brothers have committed several crimes in Azerbaijan and Russia and were accused in committing terrorist act killing two and wounding some in Abu Bakr mosque. Ilgar Mollachiyev, resident of Zagatala Region, gang leader of Forest brothers was killed during operations carried out in Dagestan.
