Azadlyg newspaper correspondent Mirza Sakit brutally beaten by jail keepers in Azerbaijan

She said on October 18 Sakit was transferred back from the medical center of the Penitentiary system to jail No 14 ahead of time.

"Chief of the colony regime Alizaman Guliyev said Sakit should be shaved bald but my husband said there was no need for that as he had already shaved himself bald a day before.

Then the chief of the regime of correctional facility No 14 and jail keepers put handcuffs on him and started to beat him on kidney and abdominal", said Zahidova.

She noted that after it Sakit was shaved bald.
