First lady of Georgia on a visit in Baku

Mehriban Aliyeva, the first lady of Azerbaijan, president of Heydar Aliyev's foundation and UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador and Milli Medjlis deputy, met yesterday with Georgian first lady Sandra Elizabeth Rullows yesterday, reports Day.Az with reference to AzerTac.

Mehriban Aliyev announced that she is glad to see Rullows in Baku. In turn, Rullows thanked Mehriban Aliyeva for kind words, sincere attitude, which she feels during every meeting.

It was especially noted during the meeting that the relations between the two countries and peoples are on a high level, expressed confidence about the further development of ties.

Rullows has today visited the Honored Alley, where she visited the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev and put flowers to the monument.

The spouse of the Georgian President has put flowers on the grave of academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

It should be noted that the visit which will last until September 28, is devoted to the problem of tuberculosis and the first lady of Georgia has arrived as an envoy of the Eastern European movement "Let's stop tuberculosis".
