New radiofrequency to be tendered in Azerbaijan

"There are fewer radio stations in Azerbaijan in comparison with other countries. We consider that it is necessary to increase the number of radio stations in the country", Chairman of the National Broadcasting Council Nushiravan Maharramli told journalists, APA reports.

He said they were planning to hold a tender of new radio frequency in the near future. Nushiravan Maharramli didn’t make clear whether the radio station would be launched until the elections.
