Monitoring of regional TV channels to be held in Azerbaijan

Day.Az reports with reference to the Institute for Reporter Freedom and Safety that the due announcement was made by assistant chairman of the National Council Toghrul Mamedov.

He said the aim of formation of such centers is to hold the monitoring of TV channels, functioning in the regions of Azerbaijan.

"It was initially planned to open a monitoring center in Ganja for observation for TV channels in Ganjabasar. We are holding talks on the said issue with the Executive powers of the city", noted Mamedov.

He said that if the Executive Powers allocate a site for the National Council, the due works will be carried out to hold monitoring of regional TV channels.
