Composite sketch of suspected in Abu Bekir mosque explosion drawn

He said the sketches were compiled on the basis of witnesses' testimonies.

"According to them, one of the suspected was a man and another a woman. Both of them are young, woman is no more 30 years of age", noted Rzayev.

It should be noted that on August 17 the unknowns threw two grenades through the window of the Abu Bekir Mosque, locating at Budyadzade street. Two people died and 11 were injured in the result of explosion.

A criminal proceeding was instituted into the case under article 120.2.4 (deliberate murder committed with special cruelty), 120.2.7 (deliberate murder of two or more people) and 228 (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storing, transportation or carrying of arms, ammunitions, explosive substances and assemblies) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

During the investigation, Astara resident Rasulov Emin, born in 1984, was detained as a suspected.
