Person, suspected in mosque explosion in Azerbaijan’s capital, detained

Assistant Prosecutor of Baku Ramiz Rzayev told APA that the house he rented in Baku had been searched and books on stirring up national, social and religious enmity and insulting national dignity found.

Emin Rasulov faced charges under article 283.1 (the actions directed on excitation of national, racial or religious hostility, humiliation of national advantage) of the Criminal Code. Sabayil District Court passed decision on arresting him. Rasulov’s participation in Abu Bakr mosque explosion is being investigated.
