Imprisoned journalist Mirza Sakit states someone wants to kill him

According to Alaif Hasanov, while talking to him, the journalist said that his life is threatened.

"Mirza Sakit said one of the prisoners was given scissors and ordered to kill him. The journalist supposes that the prison administration is responsible for it", said Hasanov.

He noted that in this connection Mirza Sakit appealed to the penitentiary system and yesterday operative agent Emin Hasanov familiarized with the journalist's problem.

"While talking to Hasanov, Sakit complained about the detention conditions and wished the transfer to another prison. The operative agent said his appeal on the transfer to another penitentiary service will get a positive response", said the defender.

Spokesman for the penitentiary system of the Ministry of Justice Mehman Sadikhov said there is no threat to Mirza Sakit and other prisoners.
