Chief executive of US Jewish Committee to visit Azerbaijan

As is reported, the delegation he leads will include the leader of the Cultural Center of Caucasus Jews, residing in the United States and Canada, Jacob Abramov and chief of department of US Jewish Committee on former USSR states Sameul Kliger.

The visit aims at familiarization with the Jewish community of Azerbaijan, as well as discussion of expansion of bilateral relations.

In the framework of the visit Harris will have meetings with country's political leadership.

Moreover, he also plans meetings in the Foreign Ministry, the state committee for work with Azerbaijanis residing abroad, the state committee for work with religious formations, the Caucasus Muslims Department.

Harris also plans meetings in the embassies of the United States and Israel in Azerbaijan, as well as the visit to the Jewish Synagogue in Baku.
