BTC may resume operation in 10-15 days after fire is extinguished

Fire still continues on the explosion area of the Turkish section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan.
Day.Az reports with reference to Turkish Cihan news agency that additional powers were sent to the spot.

Representative of Botas International Limited noted that fire was contained. He said fire will stop in 1.5-2 days because of complete burning of oil, which was raised on the surface in the result of explosion.

He said noted that repair works for resumption of the pipeline activity may last for 10-15 days following the fire extinguishing, according to Anadolu news agency.
