Diplomatic academy to hold conference "Azerbaijanis and Americans, as we see each others"

The aim of the conference is to deepen the awareness of the Azerbaijani community about the political realities of America and American community and ongoing changes in Azerbaijan.

It will be attended by famous political reviewers and commentators of Washington Times, Los Angeles Times, Newsweek. The New Republic and other famous American newspapers and magazines, as well as representatives of mass media, state structures, NGOs and Azerbaijani universities.

During the conference, the participants will discuss such issues as role of mass media in formation of external policy, elections in the United States and their influence on world policy, Azerbaijan in the eyes of Americans and America in the eyes of Azerbaijanis.

Foreign participants of the conference will hold meetings with senior officials of the government and business structures. Moreover, there is a plan to visit the Bibi-Heybat mosque, orthodox church and Jewish settlement in Quba, as well as refugee campus.
